We would like to inform you that your access to the EDF nuclear power plant at Nogent-sur-Seine is subject to a request for advice from the prefecture. As such, an administrative enquiry will be carried out. You may therefore not be able to take part in the visit to the industrial facilities. In this case, you will be notified by email.
- Limited Spots: The visit is limited to 15 participants, and min 10.
- 11:30 AM (approx. schedule, to be confirmed) – Bus departure from Paris (location to be confirmed)
- 13:30 AM – Arrival and Security Check:
Please ensure you bring the same ID card that you submitted in advance for the security check. - 13:45 AM – Explanation of the plant
- 14:30 PM – Visit of the plant, particularly the machine room
- 16:30 PM – End of Visit – Bus departure to Paris
- 18:30 PM – Arrival at Paris
Presentation of the nuclear power plant of EDF
Nuclear power plant of Nogent-sur-Seine is localized on the right side of the Seine, in the Aube department (10), in Wide Est region. The plant has been providing 18,9 TWh in 2021, equivalent to around 4 % of the French energy production.
